Lake Ridge is recognized as one of the premier neighborhoods in the Jersey Shore region! It is an active adult (55+) community located on 303 acres of beautifully landscaped private property in Toms River, Ocean County New Jersey. Our location provides for convenient access to New York City, Atlantic City and Philadelphia.

The main entrance gate is off Route 70, just 3.5 miles west of Garden State Parkway exit 89-B. Other restricted-access gates for residents only are off Massachusetts Avenue and Whitesville Road. Shopping and dining are nearby, and beaches and boardwalks are just a short drive away.

Lake Ridge is a village of 926 thoughtfully designed single-family houses. The nine home models consist of 2-3 bedrooms and 1-2 car garages. Lawns are mowed by the association. Our 7.5 miles of gently curved private streets are bordered by Belgian blocks, sidewalks, and trees. There are also 3.5 miles of paved walking paths.

Residents enjoy an attractive 13,800 square foot Clubhouse with a ballroom, heated indoor swimming pool, exercise center, locker rooms, game and billiards rooms, coffee/social room, kitchen, and library. The separate Annex building includes an arts and craft room, kitchen, newspaper office, and a large meeting room often used for card games.

Outdoors, there is a large swimming pool, patio area, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard and bocce courts,  horseshoe pits and a basketball area. There are two picturesque lakes, one of which is stocked with fish so that residents and their visitors can enjoy catch-and-release fishing. In addition, the association provides a courtesy bus to take residents on shopping trips.

Lake Ridge has over 30 very active clubs, committees, and sports groups, from cornhole and linedancing, to bridge and travel. You can get involved as much as you desire! Participation is a great way to meet new friends and pursue shared interests. The community also has its very own newspaper, The Views.

The community is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by our homeowners. There is a wonderful staff of dedicated, helpful employees and an onsite professional community manager. Lake Ridge's smooth and efficient operations means  less worry for homeowners and assures that their property values are protected.
